Civil Engineering, AES
Program is designed for students transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder to complete their BS degree in civil engineering. It allows them to complete the first 2 years of the degree prior to transferring. Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems, and engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Civil engineers focus on infrastructure projects and systems, including buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems. This Associate of Engineering Science, Civil degree program introduces students to calculus, physics, and both traditional and project-based engineering courses. The degree allows students to transfer to a four-year civil engineering program to complete the remaining portion of a BS degree in Civil Engineering or to directly enter the workforce upon completion.
