Advising

Pathway advisors are available to assist students with choosing the best degree and or certificate that fits their interest and academic/career goals.  Pathway advisors will work with students to create an academic success plan(s) to complete their degree/certificate, and or transfer to a 4-year institution.  Advisors will provide students with information about degree programs and courses offered; guidance on selecting classes, and assistance with creating a class schedule for each semester.

Students can meet with their Pathway Advisor

Students can select their preferred meeting type using CCA Navigate in MyCCA. 

If students do not have an advisor assigned to them or do not know who their advisor is, they can call 303-360-4929 or email advising@ccaurora.edu

All CCA Students are assigned a Pathway Advisor and are expected to meet with their Pathway Academic Advisor to get started and continue to check in with their advisor each semester to assist them with making well informed decisions on their academic journey to degree/certificate completion and or transfer to a 4-year college/university. 

New Student Advising

All new students are required to meet with their Pathway advisor.  Pathway advisors are eager to answer questions, connect students to resources provide information and assist with navigating the campus.

Continuing Student Advising

Pathway Advisors recommend continuing students connect with their assigned Pathway Advisor each semester to ensure they are provided information and resources needed to successfully complete each semester and ultimately successfully complete their   degree/certificate and or transfer to a 4-year college/university.

Financial Aid Student Advising

F-1 Visa Students must meet with their International Student Advisor every semester prior to registration.  Failure to do so may result in termination of  their  I-20.

Non-Degree Seeking Students

Non-degree Seeking students do not plan to complete a degree at CCA and have chosen to take courses for personal development, complete course work to upgrade skills or job advancement.  Non-Degree Seeking students are required to meet with an academic advisor to discuss and declare NDS.
