Explores the basic principles of medical anthropology, an applied field within the discipline of cultural anthropology, including the cross-cultural study of illness, health, healing, death, globalization, and the interaction of medical systems between cultures. Prerequisite

Successful completion of ENG 0092 or ENG 0094 (grade C or higher) or equivalent assessment scores.
