Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative

COSI’s mission is to provide holistic support to students receiving scholarships through encouraging personal connection, increasing access to an engaging community, and inviting them to participate in relevant learning opportunities towards academic and career success.

The COSI Traditional scholarship program assists students in navigating their way through their time at CCA. The COSI Traditional program's mission is to provide holistic support to students through coaching, and providing resources through educational workshops. Students wanting to join COSI Traditional will need to complete the General Scholarship Application. The COSI Career Connections scholarship program is designed to support students or students with spouses whose employment was impacted by the COVID-19 virus. This can include loss of hours, income and job as well as being unable to work due to family obligations or health concerns. Students wishing to participate in the COSI Careers program must be eligible, complete an interest form, and complete their degree or certificate program by May 2022. Scholarship recipients can expect to meet with an academic coach regularly and participate in workshops and program events with a focus on career success. CCA is a vital and vibrant part of Aurora and a center for the community. The cultural and intellectual offerings are often open to the public, free of cost and occur year-round.

CCA proudly serves Aurora and the surrounding communities, engaging in economic and community development initiatives through workforce training, certificate and degree programs and community enrichment.
