Residency Requirements

CCA's residency requirement requires that 25 percent of all coursework applicable toward a degree must be credit hours taken at CCA and be 100 level or above.  This policy can be found in the Degree and Certificate Policies, item 6.   If a student transfers in credits from other institutions that apply towards the general education requirements for the Respiratory Therapy degree which results in the student not being able to meet the CCA residency graduation requirement, a student should choose from the list below to meet the CCA residency graduation requirement. These courses are NOT eligible to be transferred in to CCA as a part of the Respiratory Therapy Program.  Please note, these courses do not replace or substitute any of the general education courses listed above. The classes listed below are to meet residency requirements only.  Please speak with your Pathway Advisor if you already meet the general education requirements for the degree.
