Refund Policy

Class Cancellations

When the College for any reason cancels a class section, the College will notify students via their college assigned email address. Students are entitled to a 100 percent refund. Students may choose from the sections still available to substitute for the cancelled class. Assistance is available in the Admissions, Registration and Records office, CentreTech Campus, Administration Building, Room A116, or in the Student Service office, Lowry Campus, West Quad, Room 119.

Refund Processing

Refund is automatically initiated when a class is cancelled by the College or dropped by the Student before the Last Day to Drop (Census Date). A refund will not be made if there is an outstanding balance on the student’s account. Only classes dropped by the course census date are eligible for refund. If you withdraw from a class, you are still responsible for charges.

If a Financial Aid recipient is eligible for a refund, the funds received will be transmitted to the student’s choice of refund preference. For any withdrawal in class(es) an adjustment of Financial Aid Award will be made accordingly. Financial Aid recipients who officially or unofficially withdraw from the College may owe a repayment of Title IV funds received. For more information about Financial Aid adjustments, please contact the Financial Aid Office regarding refund eligibility.

Refunds are processed through BankMobile. To set your refund preferences access BankMobile through the student MyCCA portal.

Through BankMobile, you may select an electronic deposit to your existing checking or savings account or you may choose to set up a new bank account with BankMobile.
You may also choose to receive a paper check in the mail directly from BankMobile, at your address on record with Admissions. Be sure to keep your address up to date.
If you do not choose a refunding preference, you will receive your refund via paper check mailed to your address on record with Admissions.
